2019 WZA Miami Prize Purse

Proving yourself at the Wodapalooza CrossFit Festival just got a lot more profitable. In addition to the collection of prizes from their partners, WZA is increasing the cash prize purse for athletes competing in Miami this January by over $100,000.

Not just podium finishers receive cash, but 1st – 10th place for both the Elite Individual & Elite Team of Four division.

As expected, it pays to be at the top. Winning WZA Miami as an Elite Individual will net $25,000. This is a $5,000 increase over 2018. Second place receives $15,000 (a nearly 50% increase) and third place receives $10,000 (double last year). The remaining fourth through tenth place collectively pays out $35,000.

For our new Elite Teams of Four division, first place receives $25,000, second – $20,000 and third – $16,000. Fourth through tenth place collectively pays out $23,500.

Elite Teams of Three don’t miss out on the action either. 1st – 3rd place will receive some major cash.

And we didn’t forget about the Masters and Adaptive divisions! With the addition of the 50 – 54 division, and 55+, first place in each Master’s division will receive $1,000. Seated and Standing Adaptive Rx divisions also get a piece of the action, taking home $500 for first place.

WZA Miami begins by qualifying through the WZA Online Challenge and Qualifier. The Individual Challenge is going on now and the Team Challenge begins November 2nd. There’s still time to jump in on all of the action.
