Wodapalooza is celebrating 10 years by the Bay! Over the past decade, we have grown with this community into the 4-day festival that brings us together and gives athletes of all abilities an opportunity to compete together. The next edition of WZA Miami will take place from May 13 – May 16, 2021.

We are thankful our community was able to gather together last year before the global pandemic pushed us all inside, isolated. Some of us are just now emerging from our home-workouts to venture to the gym and some are still working out at home. We are missing live competition now more than ever, and looking forward to celebrating together. This year, we’ll have to wait a little longer, changing the date to May for Wodapalooza was guided by logistics. With our desire to maintain our home in the iconic Bayfront Park, we were forced to be flexible.

Another change this year is the Online Qualifier. We are still hammering out the details, but one thing is certain: the massively talented athletes of the WZA community will meet the equally tough and dedicated athletes from the Granite Games on one leaderboard.

The Loud And Live season schedule for 2021 kicks off March 12-14 in Del Mar, California with the West Coast Classic. Next up is a weekend in Spain at the Madrid Championship, April 17 and 18. Wodapalooza sits in the middle of the season in May, followed by the biggest community competition in the midwest in Minnesota at its new Venue: Viking Lakes sporting complex. Rounding out the season down Mexico, we will hold the Mayan Classic in July, dates: TBD!

Wodapalooza has always been about diversity with the inclusion of different abilities and ages invited to throw down on the competition floor, but now seems like a good time to highlight our commonalities despite our differences. Fitness brings us together and it motivates us. We can’t wait to dig into the details of planning a 10th anniversary party for you, the Wodapalooza community. Coming from far and near, you are the lifeblood of the event- injecting excitement, diversity, competitiveness, and unity into a festival that is more than a test of fitness, it’s a celebration of fitness. And we really hope to see you there.
